Iowa High School Basketball - Worth County trounced by Mount Ayr

The Mount Ayr Raiders routed the visiting Worth County Tigers basketball team by a final score of 60-34 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Raiders face the Nodaway Valley Wolverines (Greenfield, IA) in a Pride of Iowa - West game, on Tuesday, December 19. Mount Ayr will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 51-46 non-league win over Underwood (Underwood, IA).

With the defeat, Worth County moves to 0-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to North Andrew (Rosendale, MO) to face the Cardinals in a Grand River West game on Tuesday, December 19.
