In Friday's league outing, the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI), by a count of 53-26.

The Crusaders (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Huskies go into the Division 2 outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Mt. Hope was crushed by Smithfield (Esmond, RI), 41-34, in a league outing.

The Kilties now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Shea for a Division 2 outing on Tuesday, December 19. Mt. Pleasant will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 54-28 league win over Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
