The North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD) basketball felled the visiting South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND), 49-33 in Friday's non-league test.
The Thunder (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Strasburg/Zeeland (Strasburg, ND). The Clippers go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Strasburg/Zeeland was beaten by Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD), 45-28, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 70-37 non-league win over South Heart (South Heart, ND). The Titans record now stands at 2-2.
