North Carolina High School Basketball - Perquimans overwhelms Ocracoke

December 15, 2023: Hertford, NC 27944

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) and the visiting Ocracoke Dolphins (Ocracoke, NC), saw Perquimans's basketball squad wallop Ocracoke by a tally of 66-14.

With the victory, Perquimans improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Pirates host Camden County (Camden, NC) to confront the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Camden County lost 54-53 in their recent league challenge against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC)

Next up, the Dolphins confront the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Ocracoke will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
