Pauls Valley Panthers (Pauls Valley, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Sulphur Bulldogs (Sulphur, OK), 34-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pauls Valley upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Panthers host Washington (Washington, OK) to play the Warriors in a Canadian Valley bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Dickson Comets (Ardmore, OK) in a Lake Country bout, on Thursday, January 4. Sulphur will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 52-47 league win over Tishomingo (Tishomingo, OK).
