The Spring Creek Spartans basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Truckee Wolverines to 14 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wooster for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16. Spring Creek will battle a Colts team coming off a 63-25 non-league loss to Elko (Elko, NV). The Colts record now stands at 0-3.

The Wolverines (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians come into the 3A Northern - East contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Elko triumphed over Wooster (Reno, NV), 63-25, in a non-league contest.
