Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, IL), 53-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sycamore upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Huntley (Huntley, IL) to clash with the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Huntley won 56-36 in their recent league bout against Central (Burlington, IL)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL) in a Big Northern bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Winnebago will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Dukes & Duchesses go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 67-37 non-league win over St. Bede (Peru, IL).
