Nebraska High School Basketball - Wisner-Pilger over Wayne

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wisner-Pilger Gators (Wisner, NE) and the host Wayne Blue Devils (Wayne, NE), saw Wisner-Pilger's basketball squad overcome Wayne by a tally of 41-31.

With the victory, Wisner-Pilger improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Stanton (Stanton, NE) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Stanton lost 62-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Pender (Pender, NE)

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the O'Neill Eagles (O'Neill, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Wayne will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 64-34 non-league loss to Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] (Clearwater, NE).
