The Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders (Columbia, SC) basketball nipped the host American Leadership Academy Patriots (Lexington, SC), 42-37 in Friday's league test.

The Highlanders (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Camden Military (Camden, SC). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Camden Military was tipped by Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC), 66-33, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Ridge Spring-Monetta for a test on Monday, December 18.
