Fort Myers Green Wave (Fort Myers, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Barron Collier Cougars (Naples, FL), 66-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Myers upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Green Wave travel to North Fort Myers (North Fort Myers, FL) to play the Red Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Red Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Cougars play the Palmetto Ridge Bears (Naples, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Barron Collier will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record.
