Burney Raiders (Burney, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Butte Valley Bulldogs (Dorris, CA), 29-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Burney upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Raiders host Chester (Chester, CA) to play the Volcanoes in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Volcanoes go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Butte Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
