In Friday's non-league outing, the Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), by a count of 49-39.
The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, New Hanover defeated South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 66-16, in a non-league outing.
The Spartans now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Knightdale for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 19. Sanderson will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 51-32 non-league loss to East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Knights record now stands at 2-6.
