The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Michigan Center Cardinals (Michigan Center, MI) and the visiting Columbia Central Golden Eagles (Brooklyn, MI), observed Michigan Center's basketball team edge Columbia Central by a score of 56-52.
The Cardinals (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jonesville (Jonesville, MI). The Comets come into the Cascades challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Jonesville was tipped by Manchester (Manchester, MI), 36-28, in a league battle.
The Golden Eagles now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leslie for a Cascades battle on Wednesday, December 17. Columbia Central will meet a Blackhawks squad coming off a 63-49 league win over Manchester (Manchester, MI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 3-0.
