In Monday's non-league test, the DeRidder Dragons (DeRidder, LA) basketball team thwarted the visiting South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA), by a score of 50-33.
The Dragons (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Delhi (Delhi, LA). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Delhi was knocked off by Richwood (Monroe, LA), 87-57, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Knights encounter the Bell City Bruins (Bell City, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 16. South Beauregard will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Bruins enter the battle with a 5-8 record after their 57-49 non-league win over Iota (Iota, LA).
