Florida High School Basketball - Mount Dora succumbs to Trinity Catholic

The Trinity Catholic Celtics toppled the visiting Mount Dora Hurricanes basketball team by a tally of 71-60 in Monday's non-league game.

The Celtics now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Forest for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. Trinity Catholic will play a Wildcats team coming off a 51-36 non-league loss to North Marion (Citra, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Mount Dora falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Freedom (Orlando, FL) to play the Patriots in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 16. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 5-5. Freedom lost 63-55 in their recent non-league test against Cypress Creek (Orlando, FL)
