Virginia High School Basketball - Culpeper County can't get by Riverbend

Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA), 37-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Riverbend advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Bears host Brooke Point (Stafford, VA) to meet the Black Hawks in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16. The Black Hawks enter the match with a record of 0-0.

The Blue Devils now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Fauquier for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 17.
