Alhambra Moors (Alhambra, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA), 58-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Alhambra upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Moors host Central City Value (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 0-9. Central City Value lost 83-37 in their recent league bout against Downtown Magnets (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Dos Pueblos Chargers (Goleta, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Polytechnic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 67-52 non-league loss to Capistrano Valley (Mission Viejo, CA).
