Texas High School Basketball - Lovejoy falls to Allen

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Allen Eagles basketball team scored a good 56-48 triumph over the Lovejoy Leopards.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 match, on Tuesday, December 20. Allen will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Broncos enter the match with a 11-4 record after their 66-58 non-league loss to Rockwall (Rockwall, TX).

With the defeat, Lovejoy moves to 10-4 on the year. The Leopards host Sherman (Sherman, TX) to meet the Bearcats in a 5A Region II District 13 match on Tuesday, December 20. The Bearcats enter the match with a record of 4-8. Sherman lost 71-47 in their recent non-league match against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX)
