Venice Indians (Venice, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bayshore Bruins (Bradenton, FL), 70-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Venice upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Indians host Cardinal Mooney (Sarasota, FL) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the Bruins play the Southeast Seminoles (Bradenton, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Bayshore will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Seminoles go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 73-61 league win over Parrish Community (Parrish, FL).
