The Beacon Academy Trailblazers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Roycemore Griffins to 20 in the Trailblazers league victory on Friday.

The Trailblazers now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elgin Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, December 19. Beacon Academy will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 78-27 non-league win over Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 7-4.

The Griffins (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Heritage Academy (Northfield, IL). The Lions come into the Lakeshore contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Christian Heritage Academy triumphed over Lycee Francais de Chicago (Chicago, IL), 54-40, in a non-league contest.
