The McKinley Panthers (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball crushed the host Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA), 58-31 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Walker (Walker, LA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Walker walloped Woodlawn-Shreveport (Shreveport, LA), 54-47, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to East Ascension for a non-league test on Monday, December 19. Capitol will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 49-44 non-league win over Washington-Marion (Lake Charles, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.
