Eastern Tech Mavericks (Baltimore, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Carver A&T Wildcats (Towson, MD), 54-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Eastern Tech upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD) to play the Wildecats in a Howard County bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Wildecats come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Wilde Lake won 61-42 in their recent league bout against Centennial (Ellicott City, MD)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Dundalk Owls (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Carver A&T will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
