Corvallis Spartans (Corvallis, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Centennial Eagles (Gresham, OR), 58-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Corvallis upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Dallas (Dallas, OR) to clash with the Dragons in a 5A Mid-Willamette bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Dallas won 56-53 in their recent non-league bout against Elma (Elma, WA)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Hood River Valley Eagles (Hood River, OR) in a 5A Northwest Oregon bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
