Texas High School Basketball - Eagle Pass knocked off by Nixon

December 16, 2022: Eagle Pass, TX 78852

The Nixon Mustangs basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Eagle Pass Eagles to 61 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Steele for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Nixon will meet a Knights team coming off a 64-55 non-league win over Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Knights record now stands at 10-5.

The Eagles (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Poth (Poth, TX). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
