Ohio High School Basketball - Waynesfield-Goshen trounced by Elgin

The Elgin Comets routed the visiting Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers basketball team by a final score of 71-32 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Comets face the Utica Redskins (Utica, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, December 19. Elgin will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Redskins enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 63-62 league loss to Heath (Heath, OH).

With the defeat, Waynesfield-Goshen moves to 1-3 on the year. The Tigers host Kenton (Kenton, OH) to face the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, December 17. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 4-3. Kenton won 47-46 in their recent league game against Bath (Lima, OH)
