The Loyola Academy Ramblers basketball team (Wilmette, IL), was nudged 54-52 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL)

The Wildkits now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Trier for a Central Suburban - South battle on Thursday, December 22. Evanston will confront a Trevians team coming off a 71-44 non-league win over Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ). The Trevians record now stands at 9-1.

The Ramblers (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL). The Caravan come into the Chicago Catholic - Blue battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Chicago Mt. Carmel edged St. Francis de Sales (Chicago, IL), 58-45, in a non-league battle.
