The Friendship Christian Spartans topped the host Sugar Hill Christian Academy Stallions basketball team by a final score of 47-39 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Grace Christian Academy EAGLES (Fayetteville, GA) in a GCAA Region III game, on Thursday, January 5. Friendship Christian will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The EAGLES enter the game with a 13-3 record after their 51-49 non-league loss to Rock Springs Christian Academy (Milner, GA).

With the defeat, Sugar Hill Christian Academy moves to 1-9 on the year. The Stallions travel to Old Suwanee Christian (Buford, GA) to face the Conquerors in a GCAA Region II game on Tuesday, January 10. The Conquerors enter the game with a record of 3-8.
