The Glendale Falcons (Springfield, MO) basketball knocked off the host Southside Mavericks (Fort Smith, AR), 62-45 in Friday's non-league test.
The Falcons (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Springdale (Springdale, AR). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Springdale notched a victory over Van Buren (Van Buren, AR), 70-52, in a non-league test.
The Mavericks now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Van Buren for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17. Southside will encounter a Pointers squad coming off a 70-52 non-league loss to Springdale (Springdale, AR). The Pointers record now stands at 6-4.
