The Gold Beach Panthers (Gold Beach, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR), 70-56 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Central Linn (Halsey, OR). The Cobras go into the 2A Valley Coast test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Central Linn went down by Heppner (Heppner, OR), 56-50, in a non-league test.
The Bobcats now own a 2-3 record.
