Texas High School Basketball - University topples Granbury

In Friday's non-league outing, the University Trojans (Waco, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX), by a count of 71-63.

The Trojans now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Belton for a 5A Region III District 22 contest on Tuesday, December 20. University will battle a Broncos team coming off a 64-63 non-league loss to Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 10-4.

The Pirates (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record.
