Harper Woods Pioneers (Harper Woods, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans (Sterling Heights, MI), 49-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Harper Woods upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to River Rouge (River Rouge, MI) to play the Panthers in a Michigan Metro bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Titans play the Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Sterling Heights Stevenson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
