In Friday's league match, the visiting Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights basketball team scored a good 60-52 triumph over the United South Central Rebels.
In their next game, the Knights face the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 6. Kenyon-Wanamingo will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record.
With the defeat, United South Central moves to 1-3 on the year. The Rebels travel to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN) to face the Buccaneers in a AA Section 2 test on Tuesday, December 20. The Buccaneers go into the test with a record of 1-3. Waterville-Elysian-Morristown won 57-42 in their recent non-league test against Randolph (Randolph, MN)
