Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Littlefield Wildcats (Littlefield, TX), 73-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lubbock Christian upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Portales (Portales, NM) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Portales lost 66-64 in their recent non-league bout against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Littlefield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Lobos go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 53-36 non-league win over Denver City (Denver City, TX).
