Scranton Rockets (Scranton, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Magazine Rattlers (Magazine, AR), 60-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Scranton upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Rockets travel to Westside (Coal Hill, AR) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Westside lost 58-55 in their recent league bout against Western Yell County (Havana, AR)

Next up, the Rattlers clash with the Ozark Catholic Academy Griffins (Springdale, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Magazine will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 54-49 league win over Mulberry (Mulberry, AR).
