Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Marion Huskies (Aurora, OR) and the visiting Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR), saw North Marion's basketball squad hold off Marist by a count of 66-59.

With the victory, North Marion upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Huskies host Scappoose (Scappoose, OR) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Scappoose lost 67-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Stayton (Stayton, OR)

Next up, the Spartans play the St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Marist will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
