Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Scott Eagles (Covington, KY), 76-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mason County upgrades its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Royals host Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Gators come into the bout with a record of 1-7. Greenwood lost 69-41 in their recent league bout against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY)

Next up, the Eagles play the Hamilton Big Blue (Hamilton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Scott will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Big Blue come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 50-48 non-league win over St. Xavier (Cincinnati, OH).
