The New London-Spicer Wildcats topped the visiting Minnewaska Area Lakers basketball team by a final score of 65-54 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers (Morris, MN) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 23. New London-Spicer will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
With the defeat, Minnewaska Area moves to 0-4 on the year. The Lakers travel to Paynesville (Paynesville, MN) to face the Bulldogs in a AA Section 3 game on Tuesday, December 20.
