The Mt. Shasta Bears basketball team (Mt. Shasta, CA), dropped 57-44 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA)

The Pirates now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ripon for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 17. Stevenson will battle a Indians team coming off a 60-19 non-league win over Amador (Sutter Creek, CA). The Indians record now stands at 2-5.

The Bears (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Corning (Corning, CA). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 2-9 record. In their last battle, Corning dropped by Gridley (Gridley, CA), 51-40, in a non-league battle.
