The Muskegon Big Reds basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Rockford Rams to 38 in the Big Reds non-league triumph on Friday.

The Big Reds now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Traverse City Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Muskegon will meet a Trojans team coming off a 47-34 non-league loss to Forest Hills Northern (Grand Rapids, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 0-2.

The Rams (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wyoming (Wyoming, MI). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record.
