The Northfield Mount Hermon Hoggers basketball team (Mount Hermon, MA), was nudged 72-65 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Worcester Academy Hilltoppers (Worcester, MA)
The Hilltoppers now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Phillips Academy for a NEPSAC Freelance battle on Wednesday, January 11. Worcester Academy will battle a Big Blue team coming off a 77-48 non-league win over Holderness (Plymouth, NH). The Big Blue record now stands at 1-0.
The Hoggers (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Brimmer & May (Chestnut Hill, MA). The Gators come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Brimmer & May was nudged by Covenant Christian Academy (West Peabody, MA), 60-54, in a league battle.
