The William Allen Canaries basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Pleasant Valley Bears to 50 in the Canaries non-league triumph on Friday.

The Canaries now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Louis E. Dieruff for a Lehigh Valley contest on Saturday, December 17. William Allen will meet a Huskies team coming off a 72-48 league loss to Liberty (Bethlehem, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-3.

The Bears (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bangor (Bangor, PA). The Slaters enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Bangor ran past Palisades (Kintnersville, PA), 61-25, in a league contest.
