The Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) basketball felled the visiting Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), 57-44 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hilltoppers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Valencia thwarted Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM), 29-26, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Menaul for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17. Belen will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 62-25 non-league loss to Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.
