East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Falkville Blue Devils (Falkville, AL), 61-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Lawrence upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Addison (Addison, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Addison won 72-47 in their recent league bout against Meek (Arley, AL)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Falkville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
