The Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX) basketball knocked off the host Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM), 55-39 in Friday's non-league test.

The Steers (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Texico (Texico, NM). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Texico notched a victory over Tularosa (Tularosa, NM), 52-47, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Cuba for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 21. Tohatchi will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 69-26 non-league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Rams record now stands at 0-4.
