Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ringgold overwhelmed by Hempfield Area

The Hempfield Area Spartans basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Ringgold Rams to 22 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Hills for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21. Hempfield Area will battle a Indians team coming off a 41-38 league loss to Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA). The Indians record now stands at 4-2.

The Rams (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA). The Titans come into the WPIAL 4A 3 contest with a 2-4 record.
