The Simpson Broncos basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Holden Rockets to 49 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Friday.
The Broncos now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Negreet for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3.
The Rockets (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Plainview (Glenmora, LA). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Plainview was nudged by Oak Hill (Hineston, LA), 74-53, in a non-league contest.
