King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA), 46-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, King's Academy upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Marina (Marina, CA) to encounter the Mariners in a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. The Mariners go into the test with a record of 1-3. Marina lost 50-34 in their recent non-league test against Seaside (Seaside, CA)

The Warriors now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Irvington for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Westmont will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 65-59 non-league win over Foothill (Pleasanton, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-3.
