New Jersey High School Basketball - Salem overwhelmed by Penns Grove

The Salem Rams basketball team (Salem, NJ), was overwhelmed 63-25 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Penns Grove Red Devils (Carneys Point, NJ)

The Red Devils now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glassboro for a Tri-County - Diamond battle on Tuesday, December 20. Penns Grove will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 34-21 non-league win over Salem County Vo-Tech (Woodstown, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.

The Rams (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pitman (Pitman, NJ). The Panthers come into the Tri-County - Classic battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Pitman was overwhelmed by Schalick (Pittsgrove, NJ), 27-20, in a non-league battle.
