The Schalick Cougars basketball team scored 27 points and held the host Pitman Panthers to 20 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodstown for a Tri-County - Diamond contest on Tuesday, December 20. Schalick will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 41-35 non-league win over Wildwood (Wildwood, NJ). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-0.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Salem (Salem, NJ). The Rams enter the Tri-County - Classic game with a 0-0 record.
