Spectators at Friday's non-league test between the Ursuline Koalas (New Rochelle, NY) and the visiting St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD), witnessed Ursuline's basketball squad nip St. Andrew's Episcopal by a margin of 47-45.
The Koalas (2-0) will now prepare for their test against South Shore (Brooklyn, NY). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, South Shore got by East New York Family Academy (Brooklyn, NY), 53-35, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to George School for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17. St. Andrew's Episcopal will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 72-56 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Cougars record now stands at 5-2.
